Shakespeare comes to Durham Market Hall
Durham Market Hall is once again to be the setting for one of Shakespeare's best-loved plays - The Tempest.
Touring theatre company, The Three Inch Fools, will return to Durham to perform the play at 7.30pm on Wednesday and Thursday, April 6 and 7, in Café Cenno.
The company first visited Durham Market Hall in August 2015.
Colin Wilkes, Managing Director of Durham Market Hall, said: “The Three Inch Fools have sought out unique and unusual venues for their production, and we’re delighted that they’re back to transform Durham’s Victorian Market Hall into Prospero’s remote island.
Director James Hyde added: “We’re looking forward to our return to the Market Hall. This is an intimate space, where the audience will be totally immersed in the play.”
