All week we’ve been promoting our One Summer’s Day campaign to capture images of summer in Sunderland and today is our chosen summer’s day.
Send us your snaps of your summer’s day from today and we’ll feature all the best photos on our website – www.sunderlandecho.com – and in the Echo. And the best depiction of a summer’s day in Sunderland, as chosen by our judges, will win a pair of designer sunglasses from Specsavers, worth £125.
You don’t need to be a professional photographer, as long as your shot reflects your day of fun in the sun, it will be considered for the prize-winning top spot.
We’ve teamed up with Specsavers in Washington for the prize and the winner can choose specs of their choice up to the value of £125

To take part, email your picture to firstname.lastname@example.org or message our Facebook page. Please include your full name, address and daytime contact number, plus a brief description of what and who is in your picture and the time it was taken. All digital images must be high resolution and 1MB or above in size. And remember, only photos taken on Saturday, July 21, will be considered.
