Castle Eden Dene volunteers Wednesday working group worked with Durham County Council Country Side Rangers at Crimdon Beach, helping to put up fencing along the stretch of beach, ready for the migrating birds '“ Little Terns.
These special little birds are protected and migrate from as far as West Africa in the winter. It was a great day’s work by all.
