Ramside edge to North Durham League title on dramatic last night

Ramside Hall pipped Durham City to the Maxim North Durham Union League's First Division title on the final night.

Ramside outgunned Seaham 12-2 in their final match to finish two points clear of City, who were beaten 8-6 in a tight battle at Boldon, who ensured a third-placed finish with the success.

Heworth sealed the Division Two title by beating Southmoor 12-2, ending 10 points clear of South Shields, while Crook were crowned Division Three champions thanks to an 11-3 defeat of Ryton.
