Northern Powergrid has said it is aware of an unplanned power cut to the supply serving 160 properties.

It said: "Our team are working hard to restore your power as quickly as possible

"The power cut affecting your property has been caused by an unexpected problem with the cables or equipment that serve your area."

The issue was reported just before 6.30am and is expected to be resolved by 9.30am.
