As an outline application, details of the scale, design and layout of the new homes would be decided at a later date.

A decision on the demolition is expected by early June.

A method statement also explains the process and safety measures around any future works.

This includes fencing off the car park area for site traffic only, asbestos surveys and ecological checks.
