Police search for missing teenager Jamie Mason

Police leading the search for Jamie Mason have revealed that they are “becoming increasingly concerned” for the teenager’s welfare.

The 19-year-old was reportedly last seen in the Blackhall Colliery area yesterday (Sunday, December 6), between 4pm and 5pm.

Officers say that Jamie was wearing a grey tracksuit top with a blue hood, blue jogging bottoms, black boots and a brown flat cap.

A statement posted on the Peterlee Police Facebook page said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for the 19-year-old who was last seen in the Blackhall Colliery area between 4pm and 5pm yesterday.

“Jamie was wearing a grey tracksuit top with blue hood, blue jogging bottoms, black boots and a brown flat cap.”

Members of the public who have any information which could lead to Jamie being located are asked to contact police by calling 101.
