Police issue 48-hour anti-social behaviour order across Seaham
A dispersal order is in place across Seaham.
Durham Constabulary has imposed a dispersal order across Seaham due to ongoing anti-social behaviour (ASB).
It was authorised at 3.05pm on Friday, May 29, and the Force has confirmed that it will remain in place for 48 hours.

The order covers Seaham town centre, Seaham Harbour and the surrounding beaches in the area.
It means that anyone entering the area with the intention to commit or engage in ASB may be given a direction to leave by officers.
Anyone who fails to comply with the order could end up being arrested or fined.
Durham Constabulary states that it has taken the action to protect local residents, businesses and visitors to the area.
The order comes following a spate of ASB, which includes damage to property and nuisance behaviour.
While the dispersal order is in place, there will be an increased police presence within the town as Durham Constabulary looks to curb any ASB.
