Police hunt gunman who robbed Domino's Pizza shop

Police are hunting a gunman who stole cash from a Wearside pizza shop.

The robbery happened at Domino's Pizza in Newbottle Street, Houghton, at 11.54pm Saturday.

A man went into the store and pointed what is believed to be a handgun at staff.

He made off with a quantity of cash.

The gun was was not discharged and no-one was injured.

It is not known whether or not the weapon was real or imitation.

Enquiries are on-going and police are keen to speak to the man pictured as it's thought he was in the area at the time and may be able to help police with enquiries.
