Police called to motorbike accident in Durham
Emergency services were called to a traffic accident involving a motorbike on the A690 in Durham.
Durham Police were called by the Highways Agency to the A1 to A690 Carrville Interchange at 4.24pm today to reports of an accident.
Officers said two motorbikes were travelling alongside one another when one rider came off his bike which subsequently fell on top of him.
Ambulance crews were on scene and took the man to hospital with minor injuries.
Crews left the scene at 5.30pm.
