Police appeal for help to trace missing Sunderland man

Ash Cooper, who is 50 and from Ryhope, has not been seen since around 1pm today.

Police are concerned for Ash's welfare and are currently searching the Ryhope and Sunderland areas for him.

He is around 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build and is bald with a grey goatee beard. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black combat trousers and a black fleece.

Anyone who knows where he is is asked to contact police as soon as possible on 101.
