Police appeal after Wearside burglaries

Police are appealing for help after two burglaries on Wearside.

In the first incident, between 6.45pm on Friday, November 11, and 10am on Saturday, November 12, burglars broke into a house in Whernside Close, Washington, and took two Tag Heuer watches; an X box one games console; an iPhone 6S; a jewellery box with assorted jewellery inside and a LG TV.

The second burglary took place at a house in Ravenswood Road, Sunderland, between 1pm and 10.18pm on Friday, December 2.

A black Chris Boardman road bike with a green stripe and a red road bike were stolen. Other items stolen include a HP red laptop, a black speaker and four small black speakers, a Playstation 3 and cash.

Any witnesses should contact Northumbria Police on 101, quoting reference 393 121116 for the first burglary or 1183 021216 for the second or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
