Police appeal after delivery driver has cash bag stolen from him in Sunderland

The incident happened at 8.45pm and 8.50pm on Monday, February 1, in Hendon Close, in Hendon.

A man on a mountain bike approached a vehicle belonging to a delivery driver and grabbed a bag containing cash from the passenger side before making off.

The offender was wearing a balaclava.

Officers are carrying out enquiries into the incident and appealing for information.
