Plans in to move Washington play park to new location
A community play park in Washington is set to be removed and relocated under new plans submitted to Sunderland City Council.
The council has submitted an application to remove existing fixed play equipment in Ayton Park, near Crowther Road.
If approved, the site will be grassed over and a new ‘fixed play area’ being installed on main field in the park.
Public comments on the application can be made to Sunderland City Council by Tuesday, March 19.
A final decision expected by Monday, April 22.
