Pity about the midges

Friday evening's airshow was bombed by the unscheduled flights of millions of '˜midges' around the area of the road above the Cat and Dog steps.

This was due to the grass being cut and just left to rot on the seaward side of the fencing.

Perfect breeding places. Ruined our hot dogs and people spent ages waving at strangers when each were actually batting the midges way.

Bad form.

The rest of the airshow was great, as usual.

I do like the idea of tribute band being on as the audience response to the Eagles, Beatles and Take That tributes was better in past shows than that of the Swing set this year.

Rant over!
