Brilliant pass to help open the pitch up for the opener and made a crucial clearance in the second half. Gave little away. 7
Some crucial challenges throughout and looked far more certain defensively than he has done recently. 7
Struggled at times with Nathan Delfouneso but part of that was due to McGeady staying high for the counter. Coped well, stuck with it and got forward occasionally. 6
Took an early yellow for the team and hung in thereafter, managing his game well and winning some important interceptions in the middle. 7
Much more like his usual self in midfield. Broke up the play and won a lot of challenges. 7
Almost scored another superb goal in the second half. Caused a threat without being overly influential. Work-rate was superb in helping the side out at the back. 6
Lost the ball in some dangerous areas but more than made up for it. Delivery was excellent and never let the defence settle. 7
Understandably tired in the second half but showed what a difference he can make, scrapping with centre backs and freeing up other players. 6
Scored another fantastic goal but also pressed superbly, carried it well and brought others into play. A terrific performance. 8
Did his job really well. Some important headers away from the danger zone towards the end. 6
Little time to make an impact but helped wind the clock down. N/A
