Peterlee woman jailed after she admits stealing Â£10k
A woman has been jailed after admitting to stealing Â£10,000.
Gayle Price stole the cash from a woman between October 13, 2014, and November 30, 2015.
Price, 37, whose address was given as Pickard Close, Peterlee, pleaded guilty to two counts of theft when she appeared at a hearing at Durham Crown Court.
Count one related to the theft of £6,810 from the victim, while count two saw her steal £3,190.
Price was given a sentence of 12 months’ imprisonment for each offence but they will run concurrently, meaning she will spend a year in jail.
