Chris Burton and Philip Horsman struck for Norton.

Horden CW Supporters enjoyed a resounding 5-1 win over much-fancied Witton Park.

Braces from Jack Pounder and Robert Taylor were supported by a Michael Robson strike, with Rory Armstrong man of the match.

Easington CIU needed penalties to see off Brandon Sports Club, winning the shoot-out 5-3 after a close-fought 1-1 draw.

Tom Goundry notched for CIU, with Michael Johnson star man.

Easington Lane WMC bowed out of the competition 5-1 to the powerful Stockton Hardwick SC side, for whom Jamie Owens hit a hat-trick.

Jai Young grabbed Lane’s goal, while Stephen Francis was man of the match.

Peterlee Helford United are up to fourth after two goals from man of the match Karl Garside sparked a comfortable 5-2 success at Murton Colliery.

Gary Shaw, Philip Hickman and sub Dan Reeves also notched.

Hetton Social climbed to fourth place in Division One after handing out a 7-0 hammering to visitors Murton New Hesledon.

Despite a double from Simon Hall, and an effort from Martin Basley, Wingate Grange lost by the odd goal in seven against promotion-chasing Seaham Marlborough.

Anthony Cook and Ryan Martin both notched twice for Marlborough, whose star man was Michael Bacon. Mark Daley shone for Grange.
