Peterlee road re-opened following smash between car and tractor
A smash between a car and a tractor forced the closure of a Peterlee road while vehicles were recovered.
Drivers were earlier being warned of the closure of Essington Way following the smash which happened at 9.45am today.
The closure was put in place while the tractor and a car were recovered.
There were no reported injuries and the road was later opened.
