“She needs eight rounds of aggressive chemotherapy and then will need operations.
“She has worked her whole life and has never been on benefits.

As part of the fundraising campaign, local businesses have come forward and offered donations to be used as prizes to be raffled off to the public, including Roker Rough House, Sparkles, Tesco, and local Sunderland tattoo artist Barry Crake, who gave a £200 voucher to be used in his studio Barry Crake Ink.
Sam said: “The support from local businesses and the donations we have received has been a god send.
“Lindsey is so overwhelmed by it all.”

Cosmetic tattoo artist, Barry Crake said: “We just want to raise as much money as we can.
“I think it’s important because people are suffering and there is no cure for cancer. It’s just nice to raise the funds and know that it’s going towards a good cause.”
