Lyndsay Walsh before and after

“I joined Slimming World with my friend and loved cooking fresh family meals that all the family could eat.”

Lyndsay’s new found confidence has inspired her to start her own Slimming World group and help others achieve the same results she did.

Since starting Slimming World, Lyndsay has gone on to maintain her new weight, compete in 5k running races and has completed the Great North Run.

She added: “I feel happy, confident and fitter. The biggest thing it has helped change is my mental health as I can now run, and exercise and they are both like my therapy.

“I reduced and came off some of my mental health medication and feel the fittest I have ever felt in my 40s, more than I ever was in my 20s or 30s.”

Lyndsay’s first Slimming world class will take plan at 5.30pm on Monday December 30 at Holy Trinity Church High Usworth, Washington.
