People lined the street outside St Mary’s Church in the village and a convoy of taxis followed the horse-drawn cortege for the funeral of Ian Stephenson.
Ian, a former taxi driver, died at the age of 58 after recently testing positve for Covid-19.
His family invited the paper to attend Thursday’s funeral.
