These adorable little police officers are sending an important message while putting a smile on your face during the coronavirus crisis

In the midst of a pandemic crisis, two brothers – who have big dreams to become police officers – are sending a message to the public in the hope of putting a smile back on people’s faces.

Little Levi and Ellis Bell, aged five and three, were chosen by Northumbria Police to film a very important message thanking people for staying home during the coronavirus outbreak.

But their bright and fun attitudes will be sure to put a smile on your face.

And as a thank you for the video, which shared on Northumbria Police’s social media sites, a ‘real’ police officer popped round to see them.

Little police officers Levi, five, and Ellis, three.

Mum Sasha Bell, of Boldon, said: “When the police officer came to visit them they were absolutely ecstatic. He brought the police car and was flashing the lights for the boys .

“He kept his distance and they weren’t allowed in the police car, for obvious reasons, but they loved it. They’d never met a real police officer before.

“The video has already had more than 15,000 views and there’s been so many lovely comments.

“A lot of what the police have put out is quite negative so it’s nice to see something positive.

“They both want to be police officers. On our daily walk they dress up as police officers and they certainly act the part on their scooters.”

In the video, Levi thanked people for staying home and thanked the emergency services for all they’ve done – while little Ellis warns he might arrest you if you head out for unessential reasons.

Northumbria Police posted the video on social media, saying: “Levi paid a special thanks to everyone playing their part by staying home and helping save lives. And while we’re not looking to arrest you, Ellis might! So watch out!”

Sasha, 32, said: “They are fun, loving, happy children.

“They are always dancing and putting smiles on all of our faces. They are such gorgeous, kind-hearted little boys.

“They both love their little sister India so much and are always giving her kisses and cuddles.

“When they grow up Levi wants to be a policeman and Ellis wants to be a Hulk policeman! They’re both such amazing characters.”
