As a cavalcade of acrobats and circus performers released their balloons to reveal Take That, it set in motion a magical night of showmanship in Sunderland.

Around 49,000 fans danced the night away to Shine, Greatest Day, Babe, Relight My Fire and more as the rain stopped for two hours of pop anthems.
