Sunderland residents continue support for Greatest Dancer contestants Lily and Joseph

Dancing duo Lily and Joseph survived another live show of The Greatest Dancer after an ice themed performance and Sunderland residents have continued their support.

On Saturday, February 15, Lily Straughan, 11 and eight-year-old Joseph Chow performed for the third time live on the on The Greatest Dancer and made it through to the next round.

This week was ‘Around The World’ themed and Lily and Joseph were given the challenge of ‘Iceland’ which saw them take to the stage in blue and white costumes, moving in sync with each other.

Joseph had Lily in some incredible moves including a butterfly lift which quite rightfully brought cheers from the audience and a high score of 93.8%.

It was down to the public to decide who should stay and who should go and sadly it was Ainsley Ricketts who left the competition meaning Lily and Joseph will dance again.

Julie Atkinson commented: “Lily and Joseph are fantastic dancers. They were amazing last night and have risen to every challenge so far. There are a lot of excellent dancers in this competition but I thoroughly enjoy watching Lily and Joseph. They are absolutely stunning and especially for someone so young. Wishing you the best of luck in the next round.”

Lynda Driver said: “Fantastic little dancers. Hope they go all the way. Good luck you two little people. Keep up the good work.”
