Rebecca Rickett says she is known for not doing things by halves.

And she certainly lived up to her reputation when she decided to have all her hair chopped off for charity.

The 41-year-old’s long blonde mane was almost waist length when she made the brave move to cut off 21 inches in aid of the Little Princess Trust.

The charity, which makes wigs for children who have lost their hair, is one close to Rebecca’s heart having had friends with young relatives who have battled cancer.

"The last time I had my hair cut short was eight years ago,” Rebecca said.

“I usually just get a trim but I wanted a change after lockdown and decided to get it all cut off to make some wigs for the Little Princess Trust.”
