Hide AdDavid, of Downhill, told the Echo why he has chosen to raise money for the Sunderland Community Soup Kitchen – and what part of the challenge he thinks will be the toughest.
He said: “During the Covid-19 lockdown, I basically worked alongside them and helped them with their deliveries so I got to see all the good things that they do for people, that’s why I chose them.
"It’s going to be hard, I know that I’m taking on a bit too much with this and the weather is forecast to be raining with strong winds, I think that will be the most difficult thing about it.”
So far, David has raised more than £400 for the charity and has thanked people for the support they have shown him to date.
