Search for Sunderland pensioner's family after he is found dead at home

A next of kin appeal has been launched to try and find the family of a Sunderland pensioner who was found dead in his home.

John Swain, 73, was found inside his home in Booth Street, of Hylton Road in Millfield, on Tuesday, February 23.

Anyone related to him or has information which can help Sunderland’s Coroner’s Office is asked to contact officer Reginald Hooper, who is known as Taffy, by calling (0191) 561 7840 or by emailing him through [email protected].
