A regional appeal has been launched to find the relatives of a pensioner who died in hospital.

Martin Skipworth lived in Victoria Mews in Whitley Bay, but was receiving care in Sunderland Royal Hospital when he died on Thursday, January 7.

Sunderland’s Coroner’s Office is appealing for help to trace the 71-year-old’s family and would like to hear from anyone who can help.
