Seaham mum urges other families to stay at home during coronavirus crisis with Greatest Showman song
Victoria Sinclair, of Seaham, has recorded two covers after writing her own lyrics to encourage people to stay home and brighten their day during the Covid-19 lockdown.
The 34-year-old wrote her own hilarious lyrics to Petula Clark’s Downtown about people doing their shopping during the coronavirus crisis.

The mum-of-two says she has been overwhelmed by the response by friends, family and strangers.
“I’ve had so many comments and the two video have had around 50,000 view between them,” said Victoria, a catering assistant at Seaham High School.
“I’m not a professional singer, I just enjoy singing and I do it around the house a lot. I get anxious and I find that singing relaxes me.

“My friends and family love it, My husband, Lee, is just really proud and I guess I don’t know why really.
“It’s a bit of fun that hopefully will put a smile on people’s faces.”
Victoria said it only took around 30 minutes for her to write the lyrics for each song, which she has posted on her Facebook page.
She’s also encouraging others to try their hand at songwriting to keep entertained during the lockdown.
