People from Sunderland know it is a great place to live – and it turns out thousands of other Brits agree.
In fact, in the 12 months to June 2019, 7,973 people moved to Sunderland from elsewhere in the UK.
That’s according to internal migration data from the Office for National Statistics, which also reveals the areas of the country where the most people are drawn to Sunderland from.
