Police confirm missing man has been found and is 'receiving the care he needs'

Police have confirmed a missing man who was last seen in Durham has been found.

Brennan Cummins was last seen on Saturday morning (April 17) in the Durham City area and a search was conducted in a bid to find him.

An appeal was launched on social media as officers became increasingly concerned for his welfare.

A spokesman for Durham Constabulary has since confirmed: “Brennan Cummins has been located and is receiving the care he needs.

“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal.”
