Police becoming 'increasingly concerned' for missing man who hasn't been seen since for over a month

A public appeal has been launched to try and find a missing man who hasn’t been seen since he left his Easington Colliery home over a month ago.

Mark Davidson left his family home in Easington Colliery on the morning of Friday, February 28, and has not been seen or heard from since.

Police officers say they are becoming ‘increasing concerned’ for his welfare as a social media appeal is launched to try and trace the 58-year-old.

A picture of Mark, who is originally from Essex, has been shared online in the hope a member of the public may know his whereabouts or have seen him recently.

A spokesman for Durham Constabulary said: “Mark is originally from the Essex area and still has connections in the South as well as the Birmingham area.

“Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact Durham police quoting reference DHM-18032020-0071.”
