Police appeal for help to find missing 26-year-old Julie Davies

Police have asked for help as officers search for a 26-year-old woman who has gone missing from an East Durham village.

Durham Constabulary has issued an appeal to the public after Julie Davies, who lives in the Murton area, disappeared yesterday, Wednesday, March 24.

Officers say she was last seen at around 2.30pm at Cornwall Court and was heading toward’s the village’s main street.

Police say she is described as 5ft 9in, of heavy build, with shoulder length brown hair and it is believed she is wearing a red hooded top with black leggings at the time she went missing.

Julie is known to have links to Darlington and the west area of County Durham and it may be possible she is travelling by bus.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts which could help in the search is asked to call the force on 101, quoting incident number 260 of March 24.
