Organisers of the first Sunderland City 5k run have hailed it as a big success.

Some 600 runners took part in the event on Saturday evening, which started and finished at the city's new Northern Spire bridge. Many were raising money for the weekend's official charity partner, St Benedict's Hospice. Is anyone you know pictured in our gallery?
