"He still wanted to go out and collect litter when it was dark and miserable and he got us all out as a family to help.”

Andrew helped clear rubbish from areas in and around Seaham, including his local estate and the beach to raise money for WWF.

Tara added: "I admire his dedication, there wasn’t a day that he didn’t want to go out and collect litter.

“He’s loved doing it and it was something productive we could do as a family during lockdown."
