Saturday brought us another hot summer day, as temperatures soared above 20°C.
People headed to Seaham beach to make the most of the sunshine and stroll along the coast, reunite with friends or treat themselves to an ice cream.
Visitors were also treated to the surprise appearance of a seal which delighted the crowds with a show.
