Mystery North-East man pockets six-figure windfall in EuroMillions draw

A mystery North-East man is celebrating after pocketing a six-figure lottery windfall.

The EuroMillions winner, known only as Mr Y from Tyne & Wear, has won £119,151.70p following a draw earlier in January.

Using a selection of random numbers, he matched the five main numbers plus one Lucky Star number and has exercised his right to have only part of his personal details revealed.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, which runs the EuroMillions draws, has now said: “Huge congratulations to Mr. Y for winning this fantastic prize.
