Mystery North-East man pockets six-figure windfall in EuroMillions draw

The EuroMillions winner, known only as Mr Y from Tyne & Wear, has won £119,151.70p following a draw earlier in January.
Using a selection of random numbers, he matched the five main numbers plus one Lucky Star number and has exercised his right to have only part of his personal details revealed.

Mr Y’s success on January 8 follows just weeks after an earlier mystery winner from the region, described only as a Mr M from County Durham, matched five main numbers plus the bonus ball in a main Lotto draw to clinch £1m.
