Missing woman, 78, who was last seen getting on a bus in Peterlee has been found
A missing pensioner who last last seen getting onto a bus has been found, Durham Constabulary have confirmed.

Police officers issued an appeal in the early hours of Sunday, February 2, asking for the public’s help to find Sylvia Ferris-Brown, of Peterlee, after she was last seen getting onto a bus in Peterlee Bus Station which was heading towards Durham on Saturday afternoon.
Officers said they were growing ‘increasingly concerned’ for the 78-year-old’s welfare.
A CCTV image of Sylvia was also released in the social media post which was shared hundreds of times on Facebook.
Durham Constabulary has now confirmed that Sylvia has been located.

Issuing an update on the original post, a spokesman for the police force said: “Sylvia has now been located. Thanks for sharing.”
The post was shared more than 1,600 times by concerned members of the public in a bid to locate Sylvia.
