Missing Washington dad found after police plea

Michael Young, 59, from Washington, was reported missing by his family on Thursday, September 10 after he was last seen in the area near St Robert’s School in the town.

Northumbria Police said he has now been found and thanked the public and media for their help.

In a statement, the said: “Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal and helped us bring him home safely.”

Northumbria Police have thanked everyone who helped with the appeal.
