Ding is opening its new branch in Sunderland.

The burger business, set up by a group of friends from Hartlepool, has expanded its venture to Sunderland and sold out of takeaway slots in less than 60 seconds after the system went live at 7pm yesterday.

Ding will be operating from the Roker Hotel in Sunderland on Saturday, March 6 and Sunday March 7 where the lucky customers who managed to grab a slot will be able to try the famous ‘mince in a bun.’

The burger joint used an online booking portal to collect orders via their Instagram where Sunderland customers clicked the link in the hope of ordering food for the weekend ahead.

The company, who source produce from local butchers and bakers, also provides a take-away service from Ta Moko in Middlesbrough and is planning to provide a dine-in service at some of their locations after the national lockdown.

The next Sunderland take-away dates are yet to be confirmed but you can follow Ding on Instagram for the latest updates here.
