Holy Trinity Church, in Church Street East, in the city’s East End, was consecrated in 1719 and is undergoing £4.3m of work to transform it into a cultural venue from this autumn.

The Churches Conservation Trust (CCT), which is responsible for the Grade I listed building, has taken advantage of the secure scaffolding around its perimeter to organise guided trips up to its landmark tower.

The trips take place on Saturday, March 7, at 10.30am, noon and 2pm and last one hour.
