Here's the latest Sunderland street to celebrate a lottery win

They have all received £1,000 after their SR3 2FJ postcode was chosen as part of the People’s Postcode Lottery daily draw for Tuesday, September 29.

The neighbours in Oakdale, Sunderland, have received well wishes from lottery ambassador Judie McCourt, who said: “Congratulations to our winners. I’m thrilled for them and I’m sure this news has made their day.”

The address is the latest in a lengthy series of streets across the city to have enjoyed lottery wins of up to £30,000 during 2020.

A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and People’s Postcode Lottery players have raised more than £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

The latest draw was promoted on behalf of Canal and River Trust, which has received more than £10 million in funding to help it care for 2,000 miles of canals and rivers across England & Wales.
