Here's how to get limited edition Sunderland AFC shirts celebrating 25 years of the Foundation of Light
All the money raised will go to supporting the Foundation’s work
Sunderland AFC players will warm up in special commemorative shirts ahead of Sunday's clash with Leeds United, celebrating 25 years of the club's official charity, the Foundation of Light.

Sunday’s 4.30pm fixture has been officially dedicated to the Foundation.
The limited-edition Hummel shirts have been created to mark a quarter of a century of changing lives across the North East, with the team proudly wearing them ahead of kick-off at the Stadium of Light.
Following the match, the players' warm-up shirts will be auctioned to raise vital funds for the Foundation, giving supporters the chance to own a unique piece of the charity's 25-year history.
With just 500 commemorative shirts produced, supporters can get their hands on a piece of Foundation history while stocks last. Available from Beacon of Light reception, shirts are priced at £35 for adults and £25 for children, with proceeds supporting the Foundation’s life-changing work across the North East.
Earlier this week, Sunderland AFC fullback Trai Hume was pictured wearing the shirt as he spoke glowingly about the work of the Foundation and his own experiences supporting the charity since he arrived at the club in January 2022.

He said: “25 years is an amazing milestone for the Foundation and one they fully deserve. When I first sat here as a Sunderland player, I didn’t know about the Foundation, but I realised very quickly how important it is, not just for the club, but for the city.
“Every time you see the Gala Dinner, you see the impact that it has. You don’t understand the impact it has on the city until you actually come here and see it first-hand - it’s amazing.”
Foundation Matchday marks the culmination of a special Founders' Week, celebrating the charity's impact on thousands of people and families across the region through education, sport, health and wellbeing.
Since its formation in 2001, the Foundation has used the power of football to “inspire, educate and support people of all ages across Sunderland, South Tyneside and County Durham”.
You can donate to the cause and bid for one of the shirts worn by the players via the Foundation’s website at https://fol.generosity-global.com/c/foundation-of-light
