'He had the biggest heart' - Tributes paid to devoted Sunderland dad killed in A690 crash

Tributes have been paid to a dad-of-four from Sunderland who died following a collision on the A690.

A touching family statement read: “Gary was loved by many and he was a devoted father to four beautiful daughters.

“He was a keen footballer and an avid supporter of Sunderland AFC.”

An investigation is being carried out to determine what happened before the crash
