Great North Run 2027 ballot opens
The ballot to enter next year’s Great North Run is now open.
The world’s largest half marathon is returning to the North East on Sunday, September 12, 2027 as tens of thousands of runners take on the famous 13.1 mile route from city to sea.
Entry into the ballot is free and, if successful, the run costs £70 plus a £3.50 booking fee.
The deadline to enter the ballot is midnight on Sunday, September 20, 2026.
