Councillor for Grindon and Thorney Close, Stephen O’Brien has condemned the actions of the youths.

He said: “Both Grindon and Thorney Close are understandably concerned about the incident. I dread to think what would have happened if a rock or bottle had broken a window and hit a driver or passenger.

"It's not the first time things have been thrown at people driving down Tay Road in recent weeks, and the situation probably isn't helped by the fact that there's been a series of temporary traffic lights slowing down traffic. I understand that the local police are patrolling along Tay Road more regularly than usual, which is welcome.”
