Floral tribute following death in Hartlepool of ‘much-loved’ grandmother Margaret Murray
The bouquet was left near the A689 at Greatham, where the fatal crash happened at around 12.45pm on Tuesday, March 30.

Hide AdIn statement released through police, Margaret’s family have since said: “Margaret was a much loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and friend who will be greatly missed.”
Her loved ones have asked for privacy following her death.
The incident was first reported as a two-car collision although Cleveland Police said on March 31 that four vehicles were involved and confirmed five men have been questioned over what happened.
Three, aged 19, 20 and 25, were all taken into custody in the hours after the incident while a 24-year-old and 26-year-old were later arrested.
All five have been released under investigation and an inquest into the pensioner’s death is expected to open shortly at Teesside Coroners’ Court.

Hide AdPolice have appealed for witnesses who saw or captured footage of a red Audi A4 convertible and a black Volkswagen Golf prior to the incident.
Further footage is also requested of a red Audi A4, a black Volkswagen Golf and a grey Volkswagen Golf travelling between the A19 at Wolviston roundabout and the A689 towards Hartlepool
