Firefighters called to Sunderland home after faulty boiler causes blaze
Firefighters have tackled a blaze caused by a faulty boiler at a Sunderland home.
Two crews from Farringdon Community Fire Station were called to the fire at a two storey terraced property on Fenton Terrace, in New Herrington, at around 8.40pm on Tuesday, December 3.
The blaze was started by a faulty boiler in the kitchen and which was totally destroyed by the fire.
The walls and the ceiling of the property were also damaged by smoke.
No one was injured in the incident.
