Elderly woman rushed to hospital after fall at bus stop in Seaham

North East Ambulance Service were called to a bus stop near Byron Place where an elderly woman had fallen.

A double crewed ambulance attended and she was taken to hospital.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said: “At 12.20pm we were called to an elderly woman who had fallen at a bus stop.

“We treated her at the scene and she was taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital.”
